What is the CellUmi Affiliate Program and How Does It Work?
With the CellUmi Affiliate Program, you can earn commission on every trade-in or store purchase made by customers you refer to us. We provide unique tracking links and banners for your website. When a visitor clicks your link and completes a trade-in or purchase, we track it and pay you a commission. It’s that simple!
Is My Website Eligible for the Affiliate Program?
We welcome most websites that align with CellUmi’s audience. However, we do not approve sites with offensive or explicit content. We encourage you to apply, and we will review your application promptly. While we strive to support all affiliates, we reserve the right to decline or revoke membership at any time.
Are There Any Fees?
- If you’re already an AWIN affiliate, there are no additional fees—just apply and get started!
- If you’re new to AWIN, there is a $1 sign-up fee, which is refunded with your first commission payment (this is purely for fraud prevention).
What is the Commission Rate?
We offer up to 10% commission based on what customers buy or trade-in. Higher sales volume may qualify you for even better commission rates!
Can I Become an Affiliate if I Live Outside of Canada?
Yes! We accept affiliates from anywhere in the world supported by AWIN. However, please note that CellFlip currently only operates in Canada, so referrals should be Canada-based.
Is There a Minimum Commission Threshold?
No! You do not need to meet a minimum sales amount to remain a CellUmi Affiliate.
Can I Promote CellUmi Without a Website?
Yes! If you own a physical store or frequently interact with customers looking to trade-in devices, you can share your unique tracking link directly and still earn commissions.

How Do I Create Links to CellUmi?
AWIN’s Link Builder tool makes it easy! Simply log in to your AWIN account, go to ‘Link Builder’, and add the URL of the CellUmi page you want to promote. AWIN will generate a unique tracking link for you.

How Does the Program Track Sales?
When a customer clicks through from your site to CellUmi, a cookie with your unique affiliate ID is placed via our tracking partner. Links generated through our affiliate platform automatically include your unique ID. You can access banners and tracking links by logging into your AWIN account and selecting from the available creatives.
How Does the Trade-In & Purchase Process Work?
When customers visit CellUmi through your referral link, they can either:
Trade-In Process:
- Customers enter their device details on our website to receive an instant price.
- They pack their device securely and ship it to us for free.
- Once received, we inspect the device and process payment the next day.
Refurbished Store Purchases:
- Customers can browse and purchase high-quality refurbished devices directly from the CellUmi store.
When & How Are Orders Validated?
When a customer completes a trade-in or makes a purchase using your tracked link, the transaction will appear in your AWIN account as a pending sale. Once a month, we validate:
- Store purchases to ensure the item hasn’t been returned.
- Trade-in transactions to confirm the device was received.
After validation, commissions are paid on all confirmed sales and trade-ins.
Reporting & Tracking
Every click, trade-in, and purchase is logged by AWIN, along with:
- Transaction value
- Commission earned
- Product category (if applicable)
You can view these insights in the ‘Reports’ section of the AWIN platform.
Cookie Policy
When you refer a customer to CellUmi, a tracking cookie is placed to credit you for any sales or trade-ins they complete.
Cookie Duration: 30 days
If a customer returns to CellUmi and completes a transaction within this timeframe, you will still receive credit.
However, if the customer returns via a paid advertising channel (e.g., PPC, Paid Social, or Display Ads), the cookie will be overridden, and commission may not be awarded.

General
Unauthorized voucher codes or offers that are promoted and/or used will result in the commission not being paid.
Affiliates are NOT permitted to bid on the CellUmi brand or any variations of it. Affiliates must not link directly to the CellFlip website. Failure to comply with this policy will result in removal from the program and forfeiture of all commissions.
Brand Bidding Rules
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Using the CellUmi brand name, misspellings, or variations in PPC (Pay-Per-Click) ad copy.
- Bidding on the CellUmi brand name, misspellings, or similar variations as keywords in PPC campaigns.
- Using the CellUmi brand name, misspellings, or variations as a display URL or destination URL in PPC ads.
- Registering any domain names or subdomains that include the CellUmi brand name or its variations.
- Misrepresenting or impersonating CellUmi in any way that may mislead users into believing an affiliate site is CellUmi.
These restrictions apply to all paid search platforms, including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Yahoo Ads.
Paid Search (PPC) Policy
- Are affiliates allowed to bid on the CellUmi brand name? – No
- Can affiliates link directly to CellUmi from search engines? – No
- Can affiliates use the CellUmi brand name in their display URL? – No
- Can affiliates use the CellUmi brand name in their PPC ad title or description? – No
- If affiliates add “CellUmi” as a negative keyword, will they receive full commission? – Yes
- If affiliates display ads when the CellUmi brand name is searched, will they receive full commission? – No
- If affiliates display ads when misspellings of CellUmi are searched, will they receive full commission? – No
- If affiliates display ads using CellUmi + other keywords, will they receive full commission? – No
- Do certain publishers qualify for commissions on brand-related searches? – No
- Are there restricted keywords where publisher PPC ads will not earn commission? – Yes, any variation of “CellUmi.”
Transactions
- Does the commission include VAT/Sales tax? – Yes
- Does the commission include delivery charges? – No
- Does the commission include credit card fees? – Yes
- Does the commission include gift wrapping or additional service fees? – No
- Are commissions excluded on any products or categories? – No
Commission Declines
Commissions will not be paid for the following reasons:
- Order cancellation
- Returned items
- Customer failed credit check
- Violation of program terms and conditions
- Duplicate orders
- Out-of-stock items
Notice Periods
Whenever possible, we will provide:
- 7 days’ notice before any changes to affiliate terms and conditions.
- 7 days’ notice if website updates may cause temporary downtime.
- 7 days’ notice before reducing commission rates.
